What do you like about where you live?
I love the fact that its very close to the countryside, but really accessible to the motorways. I originally come from Manchester and living in Essex is totally different with lots of gorgeous villages on the doorstep.
What is your reason for running the London Marathon?
Even before I started running seriously, Ive always watched the Marathon and have been envious of those taking part.
Who will be supporting you along the route?
Many of the Harlow running club runners, my family in Manchester will be trying to spot me in the crowds from the TV and my boyfriend, Paul, will be shouting me along the way.
What time are you hoping for?
Ive never run a Marathon before so really I have no idea, but if I come in at less than four hours, Ill be extremely happy.
Tell us about the charity you are running for?
I am running for The Presidents Sporting Club and Essex Disabled Sports Foundation which has now raised more than 1.5 million for local schools and organisations to provide sporting facilities and opportunities for disabled children in Essex and the surrounding area. I love children and offer my full support to an organisation that allows them to live the same full, rich life available to everyone else.
