What do you like aboutwhere you live?
We like the great sense of community and the ease to get to either the centre of London or the peace ofEpping Forest.
What is your reason for running the London Marathon?
We are running the Marathon in memory of Andrews sister, Christina, and to get married. We have been engaged for more than three years and decided to break with tradition for our wedding following Christinas death. She died shortly after wewatched the marathon together, and she gave Andrew a look that said, youve got to do it now. That sowed the seeds for our plan and we wanted to give something back to Saint Francis Hospice. We feel, this way, Christina will be at our wedding.
Who will be supporting you along the route?
All our wedding guests.
What time are you hoping for?
Apart from hoping to get to the service on time, we havent set a target.
Tell us about the charity you are running for?
We are running to raise money and awareness for the St Francis Hospice at Havering atte Bower. The hospice cared for Christina towards the end of her struggle with cancer. Our family was also given fantastic help and support by the hospice staff.
