The Rayleigh Town Museum was officially opened by Mark Francois, local MP and museum patron, in April in front of a specially invited audience. The Rayleigh Town Museum will showcase the rich and varied history of Rayleigh and has received widespread community support including help from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Rayleigh Town Council, local traders and residents, as well as a very vibrant group of museum volunteers.
