You are invited to the Royal Masquerade Ball at the Doge's Palace, Venice and a night of indulgence, illusion and intrigue awaits you from behind your glamorous mask. Classical dance drama of Kerala, south India. This exhibition explores the world of Kathakali, the male classical dance drama from Kerala, south India. Kathakali (meaning story-play) was developed to make ancient Hindu religious stories accessible to ordinary people. On display in this exhibition are a range of stunning costumes, loaned by Kala Chethena Kathakali Company, whose designs have changed little in 500 years. Through film, photography and music, visitors will enter a world of sacred theatre that continues to thrive in the 21st century.

These camps are held over five days; Monday and Tuesday are for ages 6 to 8 years and Wednesday to Friday are for older children from 9 years and above.
