More than 100 invited guests joined the team at Bentley Essex for a most dramatic display the launch of the new Continental GT. Pulling back the cover revealed a sculptured new body that immediately gives the coupe a crisper, meaner and cleaner look. With Champagne and wines selected by The Colchester Wine Company, guests raised their glasses as the cover was removed and Bentleys chief designer, who had travelled especially from the factory, took time to explain the elements of design that Bentley has incorporated into the new car. In addition the guests, many of whom had placed deposits prior to seeing the new car, were treated to a display of Breitling for Bentley watches and enjoyed catering supplied by Le Talbooth.
