Seven Essex Country Parks receive Green Flag Awards

Essex Country Parks have secured seven Green Flag Awards, joining a record number of parks and green spaces collecting a Green Flag Award this year

Belhus Woods, Cudmore Grove, Danbury, Great Notley, Hadleigh, Thorndon and Weald Country Parks, all operated by Essex County Council, have been recognised by the Green Flag Award Scheme for the very best parks and green spaces in the world.

This international award, now into its third decade, is a sign to the public that the space boasts the highest possible environmental standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent visitor facilities.
