The Mayor of Waltham Abbey, Ricki Gadsby, held a charity jazz lunch in aid of Arthritis Research UK at the Waltham Abbey Town Hall recently. Mayor Gadsby, Waltham Abbeys first American-born mayor, welcomed more than 100 guests to the event, including Eleanor Laing MP, Penny Smith, Chairman of Epping Forest District Council; Brian Sandler, District Councillor and Chairman of Chigwell Parish Council, and Chris Hillier, representing Arthritis Research UK.
Sharrons Event Catering Company Ltd provided a fabulous meal and the afternoon raised in excess of 1,500. Mayor Gadsby wished to thank all those involved for their generosity and support.
