Gardens across Canvey Island open to the public on Saturday, 21st July

Canvey Island Charity Garden Trail

Time: 10am to 4pm
Ages: All welcome
Cost: 2.50 per programme (allows one adult and children go free)
Fifteen stunning gardens will open their gates to the public as Canvey Island welcomes visitors to their second annual Garden Trail.Visitors are invited to stroll around the open gardens, which makes a delightful day out for all the family.Get some ideas and advice for your own garden and help great causes. This year the money raised will be split between Fair Havens Hospice, the Heritage Centre and Castle Point Transport Museum. Plants and jams are available for sale at some garden locations. Also for sale will be teas, coffees at some garden locations and cream teas at St Nicholas Church.
Programmes are available from the Town Council Offices, 11 High Street, Canvey Island, SS8 7RB or St Nicholas Church, 208 Long Road, Canvey Island, SS8 0JR at a cost of 2.50. The programme will allow one person entry to all gardens (children under 16 free). For more information, contact Canvey Island Town Council office on 01268 683971.
