The Spa Retreat

Located just two miles from Colchester, you can be relaxing all day in the Clarice House spa with treatments such as facials, massages, manicures and so much more before enjoying the night life of the city. There’s a swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, classes and you can top it all off with an afternoon tea.

The Glamping Escape

Far from being a fad, glamping is merely an elevated form of camping and it seems there’s no better place for it than at Lee Wick Farm in St. Osyth. With accommodation including the Cart Lodge, a spacious cabin that sleeps 11 – 12 people and has views over the sea, or Megapods for the full “glamping” experience, which can sleep two adults and two children comfortably for a cosy night’s stay.

The Cabin on the River

For a true taste of the outdoors, you have to book a weekend on The Raft at Chigborough Farm. This “floating” wooden cabin has two stories and with practically panoramic views from within, you will really feel immersed in nature. Wake up to bird song, go fishing on the river or explore the wildlife, for a therapeutic weekend that will leave you feeling at one with the flora and fauna.

The Country Bed and Breakfast

This building, once a 15th century Tudour farmhouse is now a wonderful boutique bed and breakfast in the beautiful Essex countryside. For a peaceful, home away from home weekend break, why not visit Channels Lodge in Little Waltham that even has a restaurant and bar to indulge yourself on an evening.

The “Amazing Place”

To really escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life, visit That Amazing Place. Formerly a monastery in the 15th century, this uniquely named hotel and spa retreat has been refurbished with gorgeous boutique rooms nestled in the Essex countryside.
