Celebrate Wordsworth’s 250th birthday with Moorcroft event in Thaxted this March 13 - 14

Join Moorcroft for the launch of the ‘Re-imagining Wordsworth’ collection in the picturesque medieval market town of Thaxted, with its famous Guildhall, magnificent Church and restored windmill
William Wordsworth was one of the founders of English Romanticism. 'Re-imagining Wordsworth', is a new Moorcroft collection designed to celebrate the poet's 250th birthday.
Thaxted is considered to be the jewel in the crown of Essex. They shall be joined each day by Thaxted resident, Anthony Wordsworth, the great, great, great grandson of William himself!
Anthony will speak to guests each day at 10.30am. The Moorcroft shop will be open at 11.15am each day. Moorcroft enthusiasts can enjoy a chance to discover our new 2020 designs for the first time.
Meet Maureen and Hugh Edwards, devoted owners of Moorcroft for over 30 years together with designer, Vicky Lovatt. Nearby cafes, restaurants and pubs offer a great choice for those wishing to make a day or even a weekend of it.
This is a free-of-charge event. There is limited free parking at Bolford Street Hall and free roadside parking throughout the town.
