Every day, the RSPCA Danahar Animal Home in Weathersfield is looking to find caring homes for animals in need of care and attention Essex Life showcases one of these animals each month in the hope that our readers can find it in their heart to give these animals a home...

What do you think to Louis? Louis is a lurcher (most likely a Saluki cross). He is nine years old and is looking to be the only animal in the home. He is a sweet boy and doesn’t act his age. Louis loves a cuddle and enjoys his walks. He is clever and his basic training is coming on well. Despite common misconceptions, lurcher types do not require vast amounts of exercise. In fact, as with all breeds, their characteristics are individual to each dog. If you think you can give Louis a home in time for Christmas, please get in touch with a member of the team at the RSPCA Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield and they will be only too happy to tell you more about this gorgeous boy.
