From schools with special projects to farmers opening their gates, this award aims to reward those that inspire and inform us about our produce.
This award champions the individuals, organisations or initiatives that help educate either children or adults in the origins of their food and how they can do more to purchase and consume the best local produce, supporting our local farmers.

Judges said: There has been a passion for educating children and adults about the origins of their food for more than 30 years at Barleylands. This is now manifested itself in a vibrant education programme that reaches thousands of people and literally takes produce from the field straight into the kitchen.
