We reveal the winner of the Family Dining award. Sponsored by Traymoor Quality Meats.

The judges looked for the place that never fails to keep the kids happy, without forgetting the parents. They searched for somewhere that offers tasty, nutritious children’s meals and entertainment in a welcoming environment.

Our finalists were...

Wine and Kitchen at the Norton, Cold Norton

We are a small, family run village pub, set up to promote local produce, good food and good wine. With two children under two of our own, we are very family conscious and always aim to offer a warm and hospitable welcome for all families to the Norton.

Acanteen, Chelmsford

Acanteen is a family-run restaurant and bar, established in 2001. Since our launch every single member of staff has contributed to our growing family tree, which is the backbone of the Acanteen ethic, playing a big part in the quality of service which we strive to give each and every one of our valued customers.

Galvin Green Man, Howe Street

Galvin Green Man is a return home for Michelin starred Essex-born brothers, Chris and Jeff Galvin. Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand and 2AA Rosettes, the Green Man is one of the oldest pubs in Essex. With a traditional pub on one side and a stunning restaurant on the other overlooking Essex countryside, this is a venue which suits any occasion.

And the winner is.... Galvin Green Man!
