This fabulous prize includes a pre-theatre dinner for six at Church Street Tavern followed by the best seats in the house for Mercury Theatre’s vivacious revue, Ain’t Misbehavin’, celebrating the legendary jazz musician Fats Waller and his energetic, exuberant and effervescent music.
To help celebrate the new partnership between the Mercury Theatre and Church Street Tavern, Essex Life is offering readers the chance to attend the exclusive opening night performance of Ain’t Misbhavin’ on Wednesday, March 20.
The winners will enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival at Church Street Tavern and a three-course dinner in the elegant restaurant. Church Street Tavern is consistently rated as one of the best places to eat in Colchester and is the only restaurant in town with a Michelin Plate and two AA Rosettes.
Following dinner, the winners will step across the road to the Mercury Theatre to join VIPs as they follow the extraordinary performers on a journey back into the raunchy nightclubs of 1920s Manhattan.
After the performance the winners will have an exclusive invitation to the post-show celebration alongside the cast, crew, staff and press. The perfect end to a special night.
