"Steps to the Church", wonderfully crafted steps were complemented by the lamp

"St. John's Church"

This landmark is beautifully positioned at the top of the hill along the main street through the village

"Cottage in Mill Lane"

A picturesque cottage is enhanced by being set back from the lane

"The Sunlit Porch"

Sunlight creating dappled light across the building and white timberwork attracted me to complete this watercolour

"The War Memorial"

A superb composition with the memorial at a road junction and the lovely thatched cottage close by was ideal

"Steps to the Front Door"

A concentrated view of just part of this cosy cottage seen from the gate within a tall hedge

"The Garden Steps"

In mill lane just opposite the church I saw this and just had to capture the scene – an indication that I love including steps in paintings
