Marriage’s launches wholegrain flour

With research showing that 72% of men and 87% of women in the UK fail to get enough dietary fibre in their diet and that 95% of us are not eating enough wholegrains, many of us are looking for easy ways to improve our diet, without compromising on taste. Which is why, in a first for the UK, Essex-based millers, Marriage’s, has launched two unique new flours - Golden Wholegrain Bread flour and Golden Wholegrain Plain flour.

Nutritionist Fiona Hunter explains: ‘Making small, simple changes to your diet, like using wholemeal flour to replace white in baking, can offer a number of important health benefits for the whole family. Marriage’s Golden Wholegrain flour is naturally high in fibre; it contains over twice as much dietary fibre as regular white flour and is also a source of wholegrains.
